Aims
Tollerton Against Speeding Campaign - TASCforce was established in June 1996, in response to growing concerns about traffic speeding through the village, particularly along Tollerton Lane.
In 2010 the group was wound up, having achieved its aims of setting speed limits on local roads.
Achievements
Success reflecting the hard work of the group includes; the widening of the footpath around the S bend on Tollerton Lane, the development of a connecting footpath along Cotgrave Lane, the installation of interactive signs at each end of the village, the approval from the Police of our own Community Speedwatch team, and 30MPH and 40MPH implementations on several main roads in Tollerton.
